About Diaphragm Valves
Diaphragm valves are associated with Slab Gate Valves, however use an elastomeric diaphragm, rather than an elastomeric liner within the valve body, to separate the flow stream from the closure part. Rather than pinching the liner closed to provide shut-off, the Diaphragm is pushed into contact with the lowest of the valve body to produce shut-off.
